Riley Senior Pics
Riley and I had a great time downtown taking his senior pics. His awesome mom chauffeured us around and had all the outfits and the dog handy, it was great! We got a ton of variety with different expressions in each situation. By the end of the shoot, Riley was a natural varying each pose just enough to make a it different and interesting.

NUMBER OF ATTENDEES 150
NUMBER OF ATTENDANTS Nine bridesmaids and eight groomsmen
HOW THEY MET Their freshman year of college when her sorority and his fraternity were participating in a musical competition together. During one part of the performance Adele had to run and jump into Dan’s arms and he always wanted to run through that part “one more time” at rehearsals.
THE ENGAGEMENT He proposed on at sunset on a cliff overlooking the ocean on the island of Kauai in Hawaii
WHAT ATTRACTED HER TO HIM: His handsome blue eyes, fun personality and great confidence.
WHAT ATTRACTED HIM TO HER: Her small town charm and beautiful smile.
A DATE THEY’LL ALWAYS REMEMBER For their one-year anniversary Dan took Adele to the restaurant where they had their first date and reserved the same table overlooking the Willamette River. After dinner he suggested that they take a walk downtown on the river path and then asked her to take a seat on a bench so they could talk and look at the stars. Suddenly music started playing and when she turned around it was the OSU’s awesome A Cappella group performing, just for them, amazing compositions of songs such as “Kiss the Girl” from The Little Mermaid. It was so special!
WEDDING THEME Shabby Chic, Vintage-timeless
WEDDING COLORS Celedon green and lavender
WEDDING FLOWERS Hydrangeas, roses, ranunculus
WEDDING CAKE Lavender cake with lemon buttercream filling and blueberry cake with lemon curd filling both with white chocolate buttercream frosting and fondant
FAVORITE DETAIL The reception location was amazing. Tucked away in the middle of nowhere is this great lodge-style setting with a beautiful, natural backdrop of ponds in a wooded area. They created a comfortable feel for guests yet it also had beautiful, timeless touches. They also had a photo booth where guests could take unlimited “Hollywood” style pictures with fun props and pictures were printed right away for guests to take home as a memorable keepsake.
THE MOST UNEXPECTED ELEMENT How calm and natural it felt to be standing at the alter.
HOW THE WEDDING WAS DIFFERENT THAN THEY EXPECTED The wedding was everything we hoped for and more!

Mike and Amy Teaser
I am impressed over and over by the sincerity of the weddings I take pictures for. I often come close to crying and my heart is filled with joy for the happy couple. Mike and Amy’s was one of those weddings that I can just feel. Amy was focused on making sure the wedding was enjoyable for everyone including the vendors and the details were infused with sentiment. This is one of my favorites from the wedding. I love the way Amy’s dress looks and the light is perfect to create such a romantic image. This one was actually taken by my second shooter, Tracy, you rock girl!

Vintage Barbie. That is how one guest described the bride from last Saturday’s wedding. Everything was beautiful, I am so excited to post the rest of this wedding, but we are camping this week (the only weekend this summer I didn’t have a wedding). I have so much I want to get done before we leave, so I am trying to use this wedding as motivation to get everything else done by dangling this one in front of my own nose like the proverbial carrot on a stick.
